Global design RCP
At the origin of the next 1st class TGV's seat

The SNCF(FRENCH NATIONAL RAILWAY COMPANY) chooses in 2009 the RCP agency to realize a real program of innovation with the design of the concept-seat of the 1st class of the future TGV(HST). This new approach remained confidential until today, of a forward-looking design offers, life-size, the opportunity to conceive and to test all the innovations waited for a journey of very high-speed future.
Following the example of the automobile world, the SNCF confides to RCP the care of imagining the seat of the future trains in the style of a concept-coach to explore new tracks, test them to choose those to develop. This work of conception allowed the manufacturers Alstom, Compin and the Saguez et Partners agency to realize the 1st class seat for the TGV(HST) which will equip gradually from 2017, the new TGV(HST) reams which will circulate on the line Paris-Bordeaux and beyond.
